Clusters

Solidarity. Global challenges must be managed in a way that distributes the costs and burdens fairly in accordance with basic principles of equity and social justice. Those who suffer or who benefit least deserve help from those who benefit most.

The Millennium Declaration.

Cluster Committees were appointed to identify impediments and issues that warrant solutions and also to develop new policies aimed at economic development. NCED has now created 24 clusters, co-chaired by the Secretary to the relevant line ministry or the most senior public official and a relevant domain specialist/representative from the private sector. The cluster committee members are those with domain expertise in relevant areas.

MDGs Cluster

The MDG cluster keeps close relationships with the other clusters to facilitate implementation of plans by integrating important strategies in the fields of Education, Rural Development, Poverty Alleviation, Health and Agriculture.
